Flower Preservation
Preserve your most meaningful flowers—like wedding bouquets or memorial arrangements—into lasting, handcrafted keepsakes that capture the beauty and emotion of the moment.
How it Works
-
Begin by submitting an inquiry through our website on the Let’s Connect page. This helps us confirm availability for your desired date and ensures we’re the right fit for your project.
-
After we confirm your availability, you’ll receive a short questionnaire to gather key details about your piece. This is where you’ll select your preferred frame style, size, and overall design direction. If you don’t hear from us within 24–48 hours, be sure to check your spam or promotions folder just in case.
-
Located in Big Bend, WI, you can drop off your flowers or ship them. We will send detailed instructions closer to the big day!
-
Once your flowers are pressed, they are glued, color corrected (if desired) and ready for a design proof. Once approved, they are sealed in a custom frame of your choice. Frames can either be picked-up or shipped. Timeline for completion is 3-6 months.

Once the bouquet is received the preservation process begins, which is why payment is due at fresh bouquet drop off. I dry the flowers for resin flowers in silica gel. For pressed pieces I Implement traditional presses. Many flowers are taken apart petal by petal and once dried are glued back together. Drying typically takes 2-8 weeks.
Once your flowers are dried, the designing process begins. I do design based off of the order of bouquets received. I use your questionnaire to design the flowers to your preference. A preview will only be sent if specifically requested on the questionnaire. Design proofs are for main pieces only, not add-ons.
-
Estimated turn around time is 12-16 weeks, depending on the season. Busy season is May to November. Hours of work is spent on your flowers and I will send the flowers as soon as I am able, but please note I am a one woman show at Cora’s Creations. My husband makes the custom wood frames and I do all of the communication, clerical work, designing, and processing of the bouquets.
-
Under the “Get in Touch” tab, please submit the information requested. Once I have had a chance to review availability, I will reach out to you to confirm your date. I typically respond within 3 business days, please check your spam / junk mailbox if you haven’t heard back.
Once your date is confirmed, I will send you information on how to fill out the questionnaire tab. Once you complete it, I will send you an inspo google doc page back with inspo and pricing. I do require a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure your date.
I take a limited amount of bouquets per weekend so I highly recommend booking ahead of time. The busiest months are June, September, and October. If I am available, I absolutely will take on last minute bookings, but there is a $25 fee if booking after your wedding.
-
In most cases I recommend dropping off just your bouquet. Typically this will be enough for your main piece and potentially a couple small add-ons. If you have multiple pieces or a lot of add-ons, I would recommend bringing an extra bridesmaid bouquet or centerpiece to ensure I have enough.
-
YES! I encourage it! Feel free to add pictures of your day, invitations, bouquet ribbons. Let's make this piece original and something to cherish.

Every effort is put in to keep the original color and beauty of the flower. Please keep in mind that flower aging is natural and colors will fade overtime. It is recommended to keep your preserved flowers out of direct sunlight and humid areas.
Color Expectations
Your flowers will change during the preservation process. Listed below are common changes that occur. I personally love the details / veining in the natural pressing process. I do offer color correcting for white flowers, but do not offer other color corrections. I do not want the flowers to look “painted”
White: presses ivory / vintage white
Light blush (quicksand roses): press more grey / pink
Bright colors such as yellow, oranges, hot pink: typically retain their color well
Burgundy / dark red / purple: press darker and deeper
Greenery: retains color
*If there is browning starting on your flowers at drop off, it will show the browning when pressed.
*Flowers that I cannot press: white chrysanthemums, berries, artificial flowers, brunia, fruit / veggies, and pinecones.
*Color correction is available for white & pink flowers. I will also reach out if I think your bouquet will benefit from color correction after the pressing process!

Drop offs are contactless. I have a mini greenhouse for drop offs! If you pull into the driveway, on the left you will see the greenhouse with my logo. There will be vases waiting for you. I
If running early / late, please contact me via text :) I totally get the day after your wedding can be crazy so please just keep me in the loop!
SHIPPING
If you are not local, the bouquet will need to be shipped. If you have a wedding on Friday, Saturday or Sunday, I would recommend sending out your bouquet on Monday. To ensure the best results, overnight or 1 day shipping is recommended. You are responsible for the cost of shipping (it can cost $75-$125).
If your wedding falls on Monday- Thursday, I'd recommend sending the following day.
I will send a shipping document with exactly how to ship your flowers once booked.
